Minecraft - Bamaland - Rainbow Castle

Bamaland was my first and only attempt at creating a creative world in Minecraft. We were playing with some young kids (7-11) who were still getting ready, so we spent some time training them in this creative world. Thankfully they were all respectful about other structures and never altered anything something else created!

The name Bamaland comes from our cat Alabama. This world was originally built using the default Minecraft texture, but after we started creating the city we changed the skin to the City Texture Pack used here (I will feature the city in a future post).

I wanted to create a very grand spawn area:

I decided to scrap any traditional house design and made a giant rainbow sky. Then I threw a castle on top and Rainbow Castle was born! There is no door on the outside, you need to go through the side passage:

Epic rainbow room:

The upstairs is a simple storage room:

The very top is the castle and main bedroom:

There is a library in the basement:

The library comes complete with moving bookshelves and secret hidden rooms! The first one holds the potions and enchanting room:

The second hidden room leads to a secret bedroom under the ocean:

Underwater view:

Here are some random and beautiful Minecraft scenes. Enjoy!
